6.0L Proven Power Combinations

420rwhp:  420 Rear Wheel Horsepower is achievable with stock fuel injectors and can be done relatively cheap with our custom tuner in the Insanity Setting.  Towing is possible in the Insanity setting but strongly discouraged if the truck does not have an Exhaust Gas Temp gauge. Our custom tuner can be ordered with settings designed for Towing in addition to Insanity.  Some trucks will have coolant 'puking' issues (Coolant is pushed out of the overflow tank cap) when ran hard in power settings and some even show this problem stock.  This problem can be addressed with some of our recommended add-ons.  The custom tuner addresses transmission issues to get the most holding capacity possible, however, if the transmission is already weak this package may be too much.  Customers at low altitude with relatively light 4x4 trucks have recorded low 14 second 1/4 mile times and some have even broken into the 13's.  Prices do not include Core Charges.

650-700rwhp:  This combo requires extensive modifications, but when done properly the end result is a very fast truck that will beat just about anything on the street.  Even heavy trucks will reach 12 second 1/4 mile times and light ones will reach the 11 second bracket and purpose built competition trucks will be even quicker.  Choice of turbo will determine the street manners of this combo.  Using our compound turbo kit will make this a truck that can still tow well and have a very wide power band.  Choosing a single ball bearing turbo will require our stage 2 stall torque converter, and will still be street-able with a small learning curve.  Using a single turbo to tow at this power level would be very difficult.  You must understand that this is a LOT of power.  There are more than a few people who claim that they have this much power with just 'stacked tuners' and hacksawed exhaust, but in all likelihood they wouldn't be able to touch a truck with the 530rwhp package.  Power of this magnitude creates incredible strain on everything, so when considering going this far with your truck be aware that there is no way to ensure a 'bulletproof' combination even with all of our recommended add-ons.  This is 2.5 times the stock rear wheel power.
